Located in Sylvan Lake, this little eatery is less than a half-mile away from your new city. Here you will find amazing entrees like Duck Confit or Spicy Sausage Hash for less than $10. This dine-in restaurant also has vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free breakfast items on the menu. Ellen’s is clearly well known for their breakfast specials, but they do offer lunch, dinner, dessert, and catering as well.
Top Family Restaurant
A great dine-in family restaurant in the city is Gino’s Pizzeria and Restaurant. This Keego Harbor favorite has just about everything. So, whether you want pizza, pasta, barbecued ribs, or fried chicken, Gino’s has got your family covered. This is actually why this restaurant made it to the top of our list; there is a dish for everyone, even the vegan in your family or your picky eater.
Gino’s is located on Cass Lake Road just a few steps away from Cass Lake, and their hours of operation are 11:00 am to 10:00 pm Monday through Friday, and 11:00 am to 10:30 pm Saturday and Sunday.
Best Date Night
If you are wondering where you can take your significant other to thank them for all their help with moving into the new apartment, you have several romantic dine-in options within the vicinity of Keego Harbor. With that being said, A Matter Of Taste in Commerce Township is an excellent dine-in date night restaurant.
Located right off of Union Lake, this fancy eatery offers decadent American cuisine and seafood. Overall, this fine-dining establishment rates high in atmosphere, value, food, and service, so you really cannot beat that. Plus, this restaurant has stunning lake views, especially at night.
Here, Monday through Saturday, this restaurant has a lunch service (11:00 am to 3:00 pm) and a dinner service (5:00 pm to 11:00 pm) and is open from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sundays.
Best Sports Bar
In terms of sports bars, Keego Harbor has a few great ones like the Brewhaus Bar & Grill, Wilson’s Pub & Grill, and Parker’s Hilltop Brewery in nearby Clarkston. Yet, hands down, the Lodge Grill & Bar is the best sports bar/pub in the city. Not only does this dine-in bar have wonderful food and a rustic ambiance that you cannot find in too many other spots in Keego Harbor, but there are also several TVs placed around the bar so you can relax while catching the game.
Located on Orchard Lake Road, the Lodge serves lunch, dinner, and late-night snacks. Note, if you are too busy enjoying the game and a beer to order food, that is your business, but you should at least make room for the Lodge’s amazing desserts, if nothing else. Here, hours of operation are 11:00 am to 1:00 am Monday through Saturday and 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Sundays.
If you are looking for something a little more casual and affordable, Keego Harbor has got you covered. There are a number of cheap eats or dine-in restaurants that offer good food at low prices.
Despite having several contenders, the Early Bird Café is our pick. This American-style café/diner is indeed a breakfast spot, but there is just something about an early morning diner breakfast that makes a person feel at home. Thus, we highly recommend that you mosey on down to the Early Bird Café one morning and enjoy. The hours of operation are 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Saturday.
Our bonus pick is none other than Harbor Steak House. Located on Orchard Lake Road in Keego Harbor, this local 55-year-old gem has fresh seafood, amazing steaks, bourbon chicken sandwiches, and more. This is the perfect place to grab a nice dine-in meal with friends or family. Hours of operation at this establishment are 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Monday through Thursday, 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm Friday and Saturday, and 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sundays.

Given the current state of things, it is perfectly understandable if you do not want to dine in. This means most eateries are taking reservations and only filling the restaurant to half-capacity. That said, there is curbside pickup available currently as well. So, if you prefer to eat at home, you can still taste all that Keego Harbor has to offer.
